7 DAYS OF HIGH-OCTANE ADVENTURE

AROUND THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

Prepare for week-long adventure around the British Virgin Islands, but beware—this water-bound journey isn’t for the faint of heart! As we sail eastward, expect choppier waters and more energetic experiences as we go hopping from one island to the next. You’ll be needing a visa (an ESTA is not sufficient) for this route, so please prepare accordingly.

Day 1

SAINT JOHN

  • SAILING TIME: 2 HOURS 

  • DISTANCE: 12 NM

Located in the USVI territory, Saint John is a small historied island that has been under the rule of Netherlands, France, Spain, and Britain at various points. Today though, most of the island is a national park that was designed for long treks, wildlife spotting, whole days at the beach, and snorkeling among the wide variety of vibrant underwater flora and fauna.

      Day 2

      CULEBRA

      • SAILING TIME: 5 HOURS 

      • DISTANCE: 40 NM

      Puerto Rico’s little gem off the east coast, Culebra is home to some of the world’s most stunning beaches. Flamenco Beach is a must-see for its long strip of sugary white sand and clear turquoise waters lapping at its shores. This far away from the big cities, Culebra’s skies are clear and offer an unrivaled view of luminous stars and constellations.

      VIEQUES

      • SAILING TIME: 3 HOURS 

      • DISTANCE: 24 NM

      Vieques is a sleepy little island that offers picture-perfect beaches, lush tropical flora, and Mosquito Bay—the brightest bioluminescent bay in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Record. We’ll travel to Mosquito Bay via dinghy at night and take a magical tour through waters that are bursting with an almost ethereal bright blue light.

          Day 4

          FAJARDO

          • SAILING TIME: 3 HOURS 

          • DISTANCE: 24 NM

          Known as “the city that guards the sun of the Caribbean,” Fajardo is a lively island that boasts pristine beaches, historic landmarks, stunning wilderness areas, and of course, delicious Puerto Rican food. Go on a gastronomic adventure by visiting Kisokos De Luquillo, a strip of over 60 different family-owned roadside diners and restaurants.

          ISLA CULEBRITA

          • SAILING TIME: 3 HOURS 

          • DISTANCE: 27 NM

          Isla Culebrita is a small, uninhabited island and a national wildlife refuge off the east coast of Culebra. We can anchor at Turtle Beach to bask along its white sands while keeping an eye out for hatching baby sea turtles. To cool off, we can head to Culebrita’s large natural tidal pools that are nestled against the island’s gorgeous rocky landscape.

              Day 6

              CHARLOTTE AMALIE

              • SAILING TIME: 3 HOURS 

              • DISTANCE: 20 NM

              Charlotte Amalie is hailed as one of the Caribbean’s grandest shopping meccas. St. Thomas is home to numerous duty-free shops where you can find anything from jewellery and crystals to liquor and linens. Of course, the island also offers other delights such as sandy beaches, ocean parks, historic sites, and stunning panoramas

              Day 7

              TORTOLA 

              • SAILING TIME: 5 HOURS 

              • DISTANCE: 40 NM

              Our journey comes to an end on the laidback island of Tortola. If you haven’t been yet, visiting the Callwood Rum Distillery is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the island’s history and sample some rum and even purchase a bottle or two as souvenirs. Then end your day at some of the best restaurants to try out Tortola’s scrumptious national dish, “fungi and fish.”

                With more than five years of experience in luxury yachting, she has mastered the art of balancing fine dining with a relaxed, personal touch.

                Trained in culinary presentation, provisioning, and wine pairing, Melany brings creativity to every menu she designs, whether Mediterranean classics, fusion dishes, or light wellness cuisine.

                Fluent in five languages (English, German, Italian, Spanish, and Croatian), Melany connects effortlessly with international guests, creating a refined yet welcoming atmosphere onboard Valinor.

                Luka Vujatović

                Born in Austria and raised in Croatia, Luka brings both professionalism and a calm, confident energy to Valinor.

                With five seasons of experience sailing the Adriatic, Mediterranean, and Atlantic, including demanding passages through the Bay of Biscay and the English Channel, he combines technical mastery with a natural sense for hospitality.

                A certified RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and Croatian Yachtmaster, Luka is meticulous in planning, safety, and guest comfort. His background in business economics gives him a structured and analytical mindset, while his former career as a professional basketball player shows in his teamwork and leadership.

                Fluent in English and German, Luka’s friendly and composed approach makes every guest feel at ease from the moment they step aboard.
