Egina

Egina is a charming Greek island in the Saronic Gulf, easily accessible from Athens.       HYDRA & DOKOS

      In the morning, we sail to Hydra, a car-less utopia known for its unique charm. Stroll through the island’s picturesque harbor, waterfront cafés, scenic beaches, and Historical Archives Museum. Then in the afternoon, we explore Dokos, an uninhabited island steeped in ancient history and home to one of the oldest known underwater archaeological sites in Greece.

      Spetses is an iconic island where the Old Worlds meets the New World. Here, horse-drawn carriages pass by modern upscale boutiques and restaurants along the waterfront. But the highlights of the island are the cultural sites like the Bouboulina Museum and sprawling beaches with crystal clear waters where you can engage in some extreme water sports.

          Day 4

          Monemvasia

          Affectionally nicknamed the Gibraltar of the East, Monemvasia is a breathtaking destination that transports tourists to a bygone era. This medieval fortress town is perched on a massive rock island off the south-eastern coast of the Peloponnese. With its cobblestone streets and Byzantine architecture, walking through the island feels like stepping into a living history book.

          Nestled at the heart of the Saronic Gulf, Poros is a lush, verdant island characterized by its natural beauty, relaxed atmosphere, and crystalline blue waters. Stop by the Lemon Forest, a fragrant citrus grove, and the Love Bay beach, a quaint beach that’s perfect for soaking up some sun, swimming, and even some water sports.

              EPIDAVROS

              Yet another historical wonder, Epidavros is famous for the Theater of Epidavros, a remarkably well-preserved ancient amphitheater that still hosts performances to this day. For the more adventurous, Epidavros is also home to Pavlopetri, an underwater archaeological site. Grab your snorkelling gear and immerse yourself in this submerged ancient town.

              ASTIR BEACH & GLYFADA

              On the seventh day, we sail back to our port of departure, but not before a couple of much needed stops. In the morning, we’ll head to Astir Beach in Vouliagmeni for some time on the water and a gourmet meal. Before nightfall, we sail on through to Glyfada to sample the local cuisine, nightlife, and Athens’ coastal culture.

                Born on the coastal town of Afpaktos in western Greece, John has had lifelong love for the sea. He has been a professional skipper since 2013 and has thousands of nautical miles under his belt. His guiding principle is simple yet profound: “Treat the sea with respect, and it too shall treat you with respect.” 

                As your captain, John is a versatile and adaptable host. He is capable of both creating a quiet, relaxed or livening up the journey with all sorts of entertainment, all while taking his guests’ preferences into consideration. He can even give you a lesson in sailing or how to use the assortment of water sports equipment you can find aboard. 

                With a seasoned sailor like John at the helm, your voyage can become an opportunity to forge a profound connection with the sea.

                NICK
                (NIKOLAOUS)

                Hailing from the vibrant city of Athens, Nick’s connection to the sea has always been integral to his life. He has been sailing since he was in school, spending countless summers on the open waters. 

                Later on, working as a host for his own family’s restaurant, he had the brilliant idea to combine three of his life’s greatest passions—cooking, entertaining guests, and sailing. Thus began his career in the world of luxury yachts and sailboats, all without leaving the beautiful coasts of his beloved Greece. 

                Nick’s culinary repertoire is a wonderful blend of local specialties and gourmet cuisine from all over the world. He enjoys infusing every dish he makes with distinct flavors to create gastronomical wonders that tantalize the palate.

                Depending on your needs, Valinor can add crew members such as: 

                • Personal trainer, massage therapist, and yoga instructor for a full wellness program. 
                • Security officer or bodyguard for guests with specific security requirements. 
                • Dedicated chef and caterer for more complex culinary and nutritional needs. 
                • Additional hostess and bartender for larger groups. 
                • Nanny who can organize simple learning exercises and educational lessons for children.  

                For groups of 6 or more people, a third crew member is mandatory to ensure a comfortable experience.  

                For groups of 10 or more people, food options may be limited with a crew of only 2. We can serve light breakfast and lunch snacks.
